Descripción: Our client is a famous chemical multinational company. They have more than 17.000 employees, operates in more than 80 countries with more than 200 site globally.
They have their Global Infrastructure Operations teams located in Barcelona.
They are currently looking for a Global IT End-user Service Manager.
The Global IT End-user Service Manager is responsible for defining and maintaining IT client hardware standards including PCs, tablets, mobile phones, management software and the associated 3 year roadmaps. He/she is also responsible for vendor management of relevant partners including contract renewal/replacement, negotiation, and relationship building. Our client currently has about 15.000 PCs and 5.000 mobile devices.
The Global IT End-user Service Manager will consider market trends, end user feedback and operational constraints in proposing hardware solutions that bring the most value to our client.
He/she must effectively balance the need for global standards with the varying needs of users in 53 countries.
The Global IT End-user Service Manager will develop and track relevant KPIs and chair regular meetings to ensure continued health of the hardware vendor relationship(s). He/she will act as the single point of contact for the global vendor relationship and manage yearly model transitions of laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
Relevant technologies currently include: iPhones, Androids, iPads, Centrify Enterprise Mobility Management, Lenovo laptops, desktops, Win 10 tablets, & peripherals
